Book Club (All Year) 3^rd Period

*Grade: 3-5

Fee: FREE (Book to be purchased or borrowed from the library)

This club will be reading about 1 book a month depending on the length (this may change if we have an interest in a faster turnover).  We will be choosing the books as a group and then the individual is responsible for getting the book through the library or purchasing it.  We will be focusing on going deeper with the concepts in the book, talking about the different issues, and how they pertain to today’s world and then talking about how things could have been done differently for a different outcome. We will be role playing, rewriting parts of the books, discussing character development, plot lines as well as having fun with the themes and issues in each book.
